Hosting a Theatrical Screening
What does it mean to host a screening?
We've partnered with Tugg, a platform that lets anyone bring BRAVE NEW WILD to their local theater. Share the climbbing experience with your friends, family, and community!
Want to host a screening in your town? We'd love to work together to make that happen.
Get started by requesting a date through Tugg!
What's the process on Tugg?
-
Fill out the Event Request Form and choose a theater, date, and time.
-
After theater approval, your Event Page can begin reserving tickets.
-
Share the event and confirm your screening by selling enough tickets before the deadline.
-
Enjoy the show!
Tugg has compiled tons of information on the process, and how to have a successful Tugg screening. Check it out:
You can bring Brave New Wild anywhere -- all it takes is one person on the ground to request a screening.
If you decide to host a screening through Tugg, you are considered the official 'Promoter.' You'll be officially in charge of telling people about the event, and be the person on the ground at the screening.
Does a screening automatically happen if I request it?
No. There's a minimum threshold of people who have to get tickets to make the screening a reality. It depends on the size of the theater, but it's usually in the range 30-80 people.
Does it cost me anything?
Nope. The costs are included in the minimum threshold. The beauty of Tugg is that nobody has to pay any money out of pocket. And, as a promotoer, you actually get a 5% bonus from the ticket sales as a thanks for your efforts.
Do I have to go it alone?
Not at all. We, the filmmakers, can work with you to make the screening a reality, and whenever geographically possible, we will try to make it to the screening!
Can my organization host a screening?
Yes! Tugg loves screenings put on by groups. Find out more ways you can use Tugg here.
When I went to the Tugg site, there was no theater in my town in their network. Am I up a creek?
Just send us a note (fill out the form below) and we'll try to make it happen!
